Obama brings no change to the Balkans
Serbia’s leader of a European Movement in Serbia and a one time former Yugoslav Ambassador to the United States, Zivorad Kovacevic, says that Barack Obama’s message of Change does not apply to the Balkans.
“The policy will be the same, except that its style would be slightly different. America will be little less arrogant and more ready to listen to the world,” said Kovacevic.
However, as far as Serbia is concerned, Kovacevic says that Obama’s position is the same a McCain’s.
“When it comes to Serbia, Obama’s position is the same as McCain’s and fro the previous administration,” says Kovacevic.
Obama’s administration believes that no new talks are necessary, direct or international, between Serbia and Kosovo.
“In his messages, Obama says that a dialog should be conducted only inside Kosovo between the Serbian community and Pristina authorities and wants the government in Belgrade to understand that,” says Kovacevic.
Kovacevic believes that Washington will not mind nor care that Serbia refuses to recognize Kosovo but would expect a certain level of contact between Belgrade and Pristina especially in protecting the Serbs.
“Kosovo and Serbia are not in the 20 top priorities of the new administration,” says Kovacevic.
Kovacevic notes that Obama’s cabinet is a team of rivals.
“On one hand we have his Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel who is one of the originators of the Serbian Caucus in the COngress, and on the other are ‘hawks’ like the Vice-President Joseph Biden and Hillary Clinton,” said Kovacevic.

The reason we can’t understand why Obama would pick such a team is because he didn’t pick them.
He is not running the show. It is the same old power behind the throne as always.
History is reapting it self!
Here is tthe situation;
Hillary Clinton: will not be taken seriously due to her statement “I had to dodge sniper fire when visiting Tuzla” that will follow her anywhere she goes.
Richard Holbrook: will lose all credibility when the details of the deal he made with Radovan Karadzic becomes widely known in the Hague Tribunal.
Joe Biden: Is a bufoon. He states that his biggest achievment was “encouraging the bombong campaign of Serbia”
The bottom line is; Give these three enough rope and they will hang themselves
Richard Holdbrooke has just been given the post of a US envoy to Pakistan. Imagine him bringing peace anywhere. The US will be busy just there for the next hundred years.
He’s out of the picture, Hillary has stated her priorities and Kosovo wasn’t one of them, and the VP is not a powerful position over there (unless Obama dies).
Nothing to worry about.
They don’t care about aboit us, don’t care about the Kosovo Albanians, they don’t care about Kosovo or peace for that matter, they have achieved what they came their for BONDSTEEL!
Obama/Mccain….whatever….”NEO” whatever….their both puppets of a declining colonial power….like the rest of them…..not too far in the future us Americans will duplicate what our predecessors now do…drink wine and eat cheese and live in anxiety….just look at France/Holland/Britain/etc…fat and lazy.

You are right on the money with your analysis. I wish we could get the Serbian people to understand that and put in to power a government that understands the real power is with the BRIC countries (Brazil,Russia,India,China}
For the record, I am not Serbian, Albanian, or from Kosovo. However, I sincerely feel that American and Western Europe have made a BIG MISTAKE by allowing Kosovo to break off from Serbia.
The way I see it an immigrant group (Albanian) just came into a country (Serbia) and has over the years become a majority in Kosovo. Now, they believe that this is their land and they have a right to STEAL IT simply because they are now the majority.
Maybe the US should think twice about supporting the Albanian Muslims and Muslims in Kosovo. How about if this happened in the US – say if Mexico decided to reclaim all of its US territory, which was taken by the US in earlier years. The US would lose most of the WEST to Mexico – Texas, California, New Mexico, etc… I’m sure the US would be fighting to keep what they believe is rightfully theirs.
All I have to say to the US is – get your nose out of other people’s business, histories, and lives. How would you like Europe coming in to tell you that you had to give up the entire WEST to MEXICO because the majority is populated by Mexican immigrants (whose decendants actually were the first to inhabit this land not European immigrants who simply came to the West to kill all the INDIANS and shoved all the Mexicans down South!).
In any case, I am simply stating how I see it. If immigrants such as Albanians who have fled to Kosovo don’t like the way things are GO BACK HOME to Albania!!! Kosovo belongs to Serbia and you have no right to come in and bully the Serbian minority to give you their land simply because you have OVERPOPULATED this land over the years.
Lastly, when Muslim extremists start entering Europe and hiding out in places like Kosovo and Bosnia, don’t cry over spilled milk EUROPEAN and AMERICAN ALLIES of Albania, Bosnia, and the so-called illegally formed independent Kosovo. It will be then when Americans and Europeans alike will realize that they were supporting the wrong side. Instead of standing by the side of their Christian Serbian brothers they turned their back on them and armed these people so their land could be taken from them.
Again, I have nothing against Albanians, Muslims, Christians, Serbians, Bosnians, Europeans, Americans, etc…. I am simply stating how I see it. The moral of the story here is very simple – if you don’t like the way things are stay out or adjust. Immigrants come to other countries for opportunities; however, if they are coming to steal and cause disruption then the door is wide open go back to your own country Albanians. If you don’t like the way things are in Italy, Beligium, Germany, Serbia, etc… then please the door is open go back to your own country.
There are rules in every country and we are supposed to abide by those rules. We like religious freedom and want to have the right to choose between Islam, Christianity and Judaism.
I applaud Russia and Spain for standing up for Serbia and now Italy. They are the only ones with a backbone who have the courage to stand up and tell the US that this world is no longer going to be bullied by one SUPERPOWER rather it is a world, where there should be a true democracy where all people, countries large and small have a say in their future. May Serbia prevail in preserving its history and land (Kosovo).
