Kosovo Serbs beaten by police
The police force controlled by the ethnic Albanian separatist government in Serbia’s province of Kosovo attacked protesting Kosovo Serbs in the area of the city of Gnjilane.
Some 300 ethnic Serbs have been attacked by the police after protesters demanded that the sepratist government provide electricity to them.
Twenty ethnic Serbs have been injured, three severely, after the ethnic Albanian police attacked the civilians with batons and begun beating them across their heads and bodies.
“They hit, beat and whack anyone they can lay their hands on. They do not choose between women, children… whoever they get to,” said a woman that witnessed the beatings.
Another middle-aged ethnic Serb woman described how Albanian separatist female police was whacking a baton on her.
“I ran after my child but fell and then one woman started beating me,” said the woman.
The attacks by the police came after the separatist government cut off electricity to the Serbian populace in that area.
The ethnic Serb populace has been without electricity for 7 days now. Winter this year has been cold.
“They begun to push the women and we said what are you doing this for. Suddenly he hits me with a baton in the face,” says a hospitalized man with a face injury.
“Suddenly, the policeman pushed me so hard I flew 2 meters. I fell on the pavement,” describes the woman.
Another hospitalized woman was describing how police kept beating her in her head with a baton.
“It was horrifying,” said the woman.
Doctor Zoran Dimeski says that all the injuries have been sustained by hits from a dull object and most of the injuries are in the head.
The police says that the reason they attacked the protesters is because they came to protest on the main road.

The western media are part of the problem,they have been from day one of the balkan wars i have not seen one report on western tv re the organ outrage,because they have the same warped agenda as the empire.

What would happen when a Serb in Belgrade would not pay the bills 9 years?
Would the electricity provider cut them off the network?

Please, we have been working and paying your bills for the last 50 years, and even if this is true, then the “police”
terrorists law makers and breakers have no right beating people up.You have the right to protest in a normal country.
Paying bills !?! Albanians in Kosovo still owe Serbia for bills from the last 100 years.

So by claiming they have not paid their bills, the video, which clearly shows women being beaten, no matter what people like Watcher wants to claim, is justified by saying Serbs can be beaten for protesting?
Where is the right to protest? The right to be protected by the police, and not abused by them because you wanted to protest?
Besides, over 80% of households in Kosovo do not pay for electricity, so why are Serbs the only ones targeted? Why did the government in Pristina refuse to work with Belgrade to ensure all citizens would receive electricity? Why are there power outages when the power plant in Kosovo at Obilic produces more than double the electricity consumption of the province of Kosovo? Could it be because exports are being given priority as an income maker for the government? Why would a government purposely let its people suffer just for some money from selling electricity? Why are Serbs deemed the lowest priority for receiving electricity? What would the world have had to say IF Belgrade did this to Albanians before 1999?

I do not understand why Serbia does not intervene military to put order in Kosovo. This territory belongs to Serbia and Serbia has the legitimate right to do so no matter what the United Nations say. As we say, Serbia should place the whole world in front of what they call a ‘fait accompli’.

In all truth they have been the victims of mass exodus, and murder. This is not about anyone paying bills. This is about the world wanting to keep Serbs under it’s feet. Pick up a book and do some real research for yourself. Serbs are being denied basic human rights given to man by God, to live free in your own land. Albanians are not illirians. They are the decendants of Azerbajan and turkish nomadic tribes that migrated west around the 9th century. Look up Caucus Albania during the roman empire and you will start to see the picture.

I am a Canadian and it makes me mad the way Serbs have been treated only because they have defended their land and their people against their attackers. The war in the Balkins would have been avoided if Bosnia and Croatia would have not decided to seceed from Yugoslavia. This is the first stel in all this misunderstanding. These two states did not respect the laws of the Constitution, and this is the reason forr the civil war… and a civil war, we know, is the worst kind of wars. Defending themselves, Serbs have committed crimes, we all know, but Bosnians and Croatians did the same. Then, why point only at the Serbs?
This is my question to all and please let us try to address these issues in calm and respect.

What the ethnic Albanian Kosovo police have done against the Kosovo Serbs is commonly known as “police brutality”. Police brutality is when excessive force(far too much force) is used by police which is a crime against a person’s human rights. The Kosovo Serbs should file complaints with the United Nations Human Rights Commission that their human rights were ignored. Furthermore, the Western news medias should pick up on this story; and these type. Did President Obama or Hillary Clinton order a news black out on such stories to hide Kosovo brutalities?
In UK’s mainstream news, including the BBC, to the best of my knowledge nothing has been mentioned of this or any other major incidents that affect the Kosovo Serbs; shame on the BBC! I mentioned yesterday that it doesn’t fit in with the politicised over simplified way the media works in the UK.

US itself has limited where “Kosovo” as a country can go: no joining another state and no previous status. It will never join EU because Albania is in NATO before Serbia gets into EU and Serbia will condition Albania for the membership.
Serbia already said that it does not care about NATO, that NATO has to suck up to the folks they bombed.
All this hoopla that some sort of a banana republic with few islands and 100 people have recognized Kosovo is just going through the motion of giving the Albanian killers the benefit of the doubt.
They will never join Albania, and they will acquire another staus within Serbia once all is said and done, as Albanian morons go through the frenzy. (and Serbian nationalist as well)

Trepca is Serbian, we build it on our land, makes it pretty much Serbian to me.
Of course we paid, everyone paid and we were obliged to as they would come shooting at you. The difference is that the money they charged us, they stole it and built themselves houses. No Albanian worked at the time, whereas now, Serbs are part of it and if they want free electricity they probably should move to Serbia as we Albanians have to pay in KS.
Serbia cannot, and doesnt have the anything with Kosova’s power any longer. Trepca is in KOSOVO and even though has been destroyed by Serbs who just abused it and got rich, now will start building a new power plant.
We are children killers we pimp our sisters and mothers we pride in being poorest country in Europe, there is more of us outside of albanian then in albania itself, did I say we specialieze in organ smuggling!!
