Convicted Kosovo Albanian bomber released

Mar 13, 2009

Kosovo Albanian, Florim Ejupi, who was convicted and sentenced for bombing a bus of Serbs seeking refuge and killing 11 of them has been released by the EU’s mission to the province.

Last June, UN mission to Kosovo sentenced Ejupi to 40 years in prison for committing the atrocity.

UN found Ejupi guilty of killing 11 Serb civilians and injuring 22 others in the village of Merdare in February 2001 when he bombed the bus these people were on.

However, the court comprised of EULEX, has released Ejupi because, the court says, there is not enough evidence that he killed the people.

UNHCR bus in which Kosovo Albanians killed two elderly Serbs in 2000

“I can confirm that Florim Ejupi was released from prison today. This comes two days after the session of the second district, the first of its nature that EULEX has held in Kosovo,” said EULEX justice component spokeswoman Kristiina.

Upon release, Ejupi told the public that justice prevailed.

“I am glad that justice has finally triumphed. I was held in prison unjustly for years. The indictment raised by UNMIK was an unjust decision and a scandalous investigation,? Ejupi said.

This particular bus bombing in Merdare is not the only one.

In winter of 1999, for example, yet to be arrested assailants attacked a UN bus with rocket propelled grenades killing 2 elderly Serbs.

In 2002, NATO and UN troops had to fend off some 600 ethnic Albanians who, some argue, spontaneously, attacked a buss transporting Serbs in Pec with stones and Molotov cocktails.

    People,hide your children.

This is so sad,not enough evidence?
Oric not enough evidence, off course not they are all dead.

If he was Serbian they wouldnt need any evidence!

    #8217
  3. Vuk

You are right Predrag, and the flip side of that is that no Kosovo Albanian is guilty no matter the evidence.

So that’s why we see all these organ traders in “government” let alone the killers.

HA, i cant belive this. They arrest Serbian leaders who are heros, and who committed no war crimes. And they never let go of them. While the Albanian mega war crimianals do all sort of war crimes, and they are released and put usualy in political places. Like Veljkovic said on the top of the text ” If he was Serbian they wound’nt need any evidence!”.
Who ever has eyes to see, let him see. What the Americans are doing and the Western powers is pure forces and aggresstion even now on Serbia. Also who ever even thinks of join any E.U has lost their mind. But i think it is more than that, I think its selling yourself for money, and selling your people and land!

And our goverment talks to the EULEX, WAKE UP SERBS they are destroying us.

Its got nothing to do with justice or fairness.
Its all about power & political agendas.

The Balkans is a very strategic part of the world, and the major powers have always wanted to have control.

Throughout history, countries like albania, Croatia and Bosnia were always willing to sell themselves out to the lowest bidder.

Serbians have NEVER done this! We have always been defiant.
Even after 400 years of Turkish occupation, we have never been conquered!

So its easy for the western powers to help support and prop up these poor, backward peasant countries, whilst demonizing the Serbs & pressuring us with bombings, sanctions, EU entry, the phony international court, and now offering to give us IMF loans and get us in debt.

The US & EU are nothing more than evil regimes!

    Vuk and Veljkovic.
You are right, why bother even dealing with eulex and all those other western groups they are the ones who have occupied part of your country the serbs have nothing at all to talk about with these people other than when are they leaving Serbia,in fact the serbs should force them out.

    #8246
  11. Veljkovic

    Milose when?

We have to take justice in our hands, and our courts have to rule, not eulex or Haag!

On July 28, 1918, President Woodrow Wilson gave the following message to the American people. It was read in churches throughout the country and published in virtually all major newspapers. The Serbian flag was raised over the White House and all public buildings in this nation’s capital. The message read:

To the People of the United States:

On Sunday, 28th of this present month, will occur the fourth anniversary of the day when the gallant people of Serbia, rather than submit to the studied and ignoble exactions of a prearranged foe, were called upon by the war declaration of Austria-Hungry to defend their territory and their homes against an enemy bent on their destruction. Nobly did they respond.

So valiantly and courageously did they oppose the forces of a country ten times greater in population and resources that it was only after they had thrice driven the Austrians back and Germany and Bulgaria had come to the aid of Austria that they were compelled to retreat into Albania. While their territory has been devastated and their homes despoiled, the spirit of the Serbian people has not been broken. Though overwhelmed by superior forces, their love of freedom remains unabated. Brutal force has left unaffected their firm determination to sacrifice everything for liberty and independence.

It is fitting that the people of the United States, dedicated to the self-evident truth that is the right of the people of all nations, small as well as great, to live their own lives and choose their own government, and remembering that the principles for which Serbia has so nobly fought and suffered are those for which the United States is fighting, should on the occasion of this anniversary manifest in an appropriate manner their war sympathy with this oppressed people who have so heroically resisted the aims of the Germanic nations to master the world. At the same time, we should not forget the kindred people of the Great Slavic race–the Poles, the Czechs and Jugo-Slavs, who, now dominated and oppressed by alien races yearn for independence and national unity.

This can be done in a manner no more appropriate than in our churches. I, therefore, appeal to the people of the United States of all faiths and creeds to assemble in their several places of worship on Sunday July 28, for the purpose of giving expression to their sympathy with this subjugated people and their oppressed and dominated kindred in other lands, and to invoke the blessings of Almighty God upon them and upon the cause to which they are pledged.

    Woodrow Wilson, President,
    The White House, July, 1918.

And then the stab in the back , you never see it coming.
Thats why I say ” Bole Grob Nego Rob”

How can he be found guilty in one court and sentenced and then found not guilty in another?

A court of appeal deals with severity of a sentence not with guilt or innocence any more. EULEX is not a court of appeal so he should not have been heard in this institution anyway.

One court had enough evidence to convict him and sentence him to a lengthy sentence so where is this evidence now?

Is Serbia going to appeal against this or is Tadic going to shut up again? The prosecutor also has a right of appeal.

I would not apeal against this verdict, because i would not even recognize this eu court, the eu have no damn business being in serbia the sooner the serbs start resisting kfor and all the other imperialist of which EULEX are part of the better.

    #8320
  16. If he has completed his sentence, the release is fair, if he has been let out early then releasing him is wrong and he should be sent back to prison to complete his sentence.

    #8324
  17. Veljkovic

He killed 11 people Ian, come on! The only sentence if LIFE in prison, if this was in America he would get the chair!
    Please don’t be a hypocrite.

Fellow Serbs, America’s days as an empire will come to an end as have all empires before it. Serbia waited 523 years to liberate Kosovo from the Turkish horde in 1912. One day America will leave Kosovo; until that time we will sit and wait our turn right next door.

    #8332
  19. dony

I would not appeal this verdict because i would not recognize this court eulex and all the other imperialist groups don,t have any danm business being in Serbia the only thing to talk about is when will they be leaving they should be forced out.

    #8338
  20. Well if he was given life he should serve life in prison or 20 years whatever life counts as these days. I agree that he has defiantly not served enough time in prison. Also only in Texas would he get death sentence. I oppose death sentence anyway, for all people.

  22. Well I agree that he must serve a much greater sentence and that it was wrong of EULEX to release him so early.

    #8347
  23. then I agree that he should have served a much longer sentence and that is was wrong of EULEX to let him free so early.

    #8356
  24. Well I must agree that it was wrong of EULEX to release this man so early and that he should have had a much longer sentence.

  25. Peggy

IAN, he was given 40 years. Divide that by the number of his victims and see what he got for every person he murdered. In any case he still got 40 years but has not served even a quarter of that.

He was found guilty on EVIDENCE. Evidence like DNA and finger prints. Now how can EULEX now say there is no evidence. What have they done with the evidence? DNA and finger prints don’t lie.

    KOSOVO IS SERBIA!!
    SERBIAN IT WILL BE!!
NO MATTER WHAT ANYONE SAYS WE WILL TEACH OUR CHILDREN TO ALWAYS BELIEVE IN SERBIAN KOSOVO UNTIL WE COME BACK TO OUR LAND !!!!!!!!!!!!

    #8360
  27. Peggy, I’m not disagreeing with you. I believe it is only fair for him to go back to prison.

    #8364
  28. Peggy

Ian, I know that you were not disagreeing with me, but you obviously didn’t know how many years he got.

So since you are now obviously confronted with proof that even you cannot deny and call Serbian propaganda what say you about the Serbs now? What say you about the Albanians? Are they the innocent little lambs you like to portray them as or are they terrorists. You know that blowing up a bus (it was a UN bus) or any other place is a terrorist attack.
Does your one family you helped in UK compare to the atrocities Albanians have committed and continue to commit to this day against the Serbs.

Don’t forget here, your Albanian family came from a war, what is their excuse for terrorizing the Serbs since the war?

    #8369
  29. Peggy

Europe should be ashamed of themselves. Trying to take away a part of Serbia and give it to these sort of people.

None of what has and is happening is a matter of justice but only dirty politics.
The way is clear. Demonize the people you wish to wipe out and then you will get the blessing from your citizens to do it.
Look at the similarities in Iraq. WMDs was the reason. None found. Then Hussein is a butcher because he kills his own. The US has killed many more and continues to this day with a little help from their friends.

    Hi everyone here.

Here is Ian’s post on “New Kosova Report” about Albanian claims of Serbs harvesting their organs and selling them to Russia.

Who says he is not an Albanian?

    Ian, UK said:

What have you got to say to that Camp-Serbia?
    haha
you will most likely reject it and say that it is “Albanian Propaganda”.
Funny how they never seem to mention all the Serbian Propaganda.

Our people are being killed,in our country, our courts should be responsible for convictions.

  32. Veljkovic

The man that threw his shoes at moron Bush got 3 years, and a terrorist that has killed 11 Serbs (I’m sure that he has killed more)goes free.Justice has been served, this is pathetic, and disrespectable.

  33. dony

    Veljkovic.
Spot on, serbian courts should deal with this guy,EULEX is part of the imperialist problem do not recognize it.

  34. Bass UK

This Albanian should be sitting in prison this is pure injustice to all.

    #8460
  35. Verangian

This just goes to prove, that the burden of proof is far greater to convict an Albanian moslem or another ethnic, compared to convicting a Serb or Christian, EULEX has proven itself to be a biased joke, just like the International Court in the Hague, which is another anti White anti Christian organisation !

    Kosovo is Serbia
