Roundup: Serbian author sued for free speech
Dobrica Cosic
Helsinki committee for human rights and Yucom committee has filed a lawsuit against the Serbian author and former president of Yugoslavia, Dobrica Cosic, claiming that his writing is criminal and that it constitutes a criminal act.
The lawsuit seeks to deny free speech to Cosic accusing him of alleged spreading of “ethnic, racist and religious hatred” for his comment in his book.
In his book, Time of Snakes, Cosic wrote “That social, political and moral residue of tribal, barbarian Balkans, takes up for an ally America and the European Union in their struggle against the most democratic, most civilized, most educated Balkan peoples – Serbian people.”
The lawsuit claims that those remarks are criminal and that they constitute a criminal act.
On the behalf of Yucom, the suit was filed by Biljana Kovacevic Vuco and Sonja Biserko.

Serbia’ newly appointed Ambassador to the US, Vladimir Petrovic, has denied that he ever had US citizenship nor that he worked for the indicted former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevic.
“I was not an American citizen. I had working papers and a green card which I gave up,” said Petrovic.
As a new Ambassador, Petrovic says that he will seek close relationship with the National Security Council of the US because it may be the “possible counterweight to the State Department inside which, even in this administration, are people preoccupied with negative relationship [with Serbia] from the past, such as Holbrooke,” said Petrovic.

Serbia’s commercial court ruled that the Serbian Army must honor its previously made contract with weapons firm, Mile Dragic, and must pay the 176 million Euros for the contract it made with the firm. Former Defense Minister of Serbia, Prvoslav Davinic, is also implicated in this affair because he was accused of wrongful contract intended to benefit Mile Dragic at the expense of the Army.

Serbia’s chief prosecutor Slobodan Radovanovic has sent all prosecutors an executive memo in which he tells them that prosecutors must confiscate all property owned by convicted criminals.

Cosic is right. Since when is telling the truth a criminal act? Since the cowboy became the bully of the world.
Iraq was the most civilized and educated Arab country as well until the cowboy decided to destroy it.

Of course it’s probably banned here in the USA.Why do these EU/USA NGO’s and whatever have such a violent reaction to truth? Is it an allergy? Any doctors out there that could help them???
Writing the truth can be a difficuld task becouse there are always those who don’t like it. From the other hand, writing rubish about “Rusians, blacks, Serbian” etc. and even made a films about it so far was not considered bad thing to do perhaps becouse it was coming ol helper by the US dirty politics. What bother me the most are those “Serbian idiots” who help for this to escalate. Who are those Biljana and Biserka? Can anybody in Belgrade can do something to stop those stupid women embarasing the rest of us? Who pay them and for what? I am sure there is more to this story then we know at the moment.

Even if what Cosic says is false, it’s a book of his opinion that he’s forcing no one to read. There is no legitimate reason whatsoever to curb someone’s right to freedom of speech, and claim that expressing their viewpoints is a criminal act. This isn’t supposed to be an autocratic regime where freedom of speech is a fantasy. What’s even more sad is that not much is being said about it.
Sonja Biserko and her NGO is paid for by US dollars. Her job, as well as Cedo Jovanovic’s, and Natasa Kandic’s, is to blacken the name of Serbia, to weaken her from within, to spread lies and propoganda about Serbs, and to keep traitors like Tadic in power in the Serbian government. These people are a fifth column inside of Serbia, working for those who wish to shrink Serbia’s size and influence in the region (mainly Germany and the US). These people should be thrown in jail for treason.
This would be a joke, if it were not so serious, so the racist (against whites) bigoted (against Christians) Hague will sit in judgement on a Serbian who tells the truth! oh the irony !!
