Lot of mistakes done to Serbia, diplomat

Former Italian foreign minister Gianni de Mikelis, who is also a member of the European Parliament, said that European states have made a lot of mistakes towards Serbia, but should not make another one ? to stop it along its course of European integration.

Gianni de Mikelis said that recognition of Kosovo?s unilaterally proclaimed independence was a mistake, as well as the sending of the EULEX mission to Kosovo.

According to him, it is evident that Kosovo will not become a UN member, as the majority in the General Assembly, not only China and Russia, would be against it.

Serbia will not allow admission of Kosovo in the UN, but it cannot go backwards either, and such a situation creates instability and problem for the whole of Europe.
