Born in Osijek, Yugoslavia in 1987, Bojan Ratkovic experienced firsthand
the hardships of the Yugoslav Civil War (1991-1995). He and his family
found themselves refugees on two separate occasions, once from the newly
independent Republic of Croatia and then again from the disputed Krajina
region. In 1998, Bojan Ratkovic emigrated to Canada along with his family.
Presently, Bojan Ratkovic is a Political Science Honours student at Brock
University in Ontario, Canada. He is the current Student Representative
for the Brock University Political Science Department and an executive
member of the Brock University Political Science Students Association.
