Viseslav Simic was born in Serbia, and currently resides in Washington,
DC. He obtained his BA in international relations from the University of
Colorado at Boulder and his Master's degree in International Development
and Cooperation from the Jose Ortega y Gasset Institute in Madrid, Spain.
In 2001, Viseslav was awarded the Book of the Year prize by Serbian Literary
Association (Srpska knjizevna zadruga) for his book Zapis Danilovog ucenika.
