PRISTINA, Serbia-Montenegro-A Malev jet skidded of the runway while landing in Pristina on Thursday, prompting authorities to close the international airport, an official said.

A Fokker 70 jet, operated by Hungarian company Malev, went some 100 meters (328) into the fields while trying to land in snowy weather, said Afrim Haziri, head of flight control at the airport.

None of the plane's 45 passengers and five crew members were injured, and no damage could be observed on the aircraft, Haziri said. All other flights were canceled, he said.
