Muslim-owned
Hitler diner found in Kosovo
March 7, 2007 -- A pair of UK travelers that self-describe themselves
as believers in an independent Kosovo, say on their blog that they dinned
in a Muslim Albanian owned restaurant in the southern portion of a Kosovo
town of Mitrovica that decorates its receipts with Nazi swastikas and boast
that its Albanian owner is an Adolph Hitler look alike.

"This was a surreal experience beyond any others we had previously
lived," describes Balkan Baby blog. "We were walking into a restaurant
in which stood history's greatest villain. The man whose name is synonymous
with the greatest sins known to man."
"...this man does not just have a resemblance to Hitler, he is a replica
of him, or a clone, or maybe he actually is Hitler."
The restaurant is owned by a Kosovo Albanian that the visitors described
as a man who served with the KLA or Kosovo Liberation Army, an armed terrorist
Muslim group that recently organized bombing attacks on UN and OSCE vehicles
in Kosovo.

"It was a seedy little restaurant with dark wood panels on the wall,
upon which were hung photos of the proprietor from when he served in the
UCK [Kosovo Liberation Army]," describes Balkan Baby blog. "They showed
him with another fellow who looked like a member of the Taliban"
"I start to wonder whether Hitler fled Berlin in 1945 and traveled down
to Kosova to hide away for some time," writes the traveler in the blog.
During WWII, Mitrovica was one of the centers of Muslim Albanian Nazi
military units, Bali Kombetar, responsible for killing and rounding up
thousands of Serbs and Jews and deporting them to concentration camps.
" One moment [the waitress is] telling him how he's so handsome, but
then the next she is saying how she hates all Serbs and hopes they all
die…"

"Some other customers enter and its clear that they're locals to the
place as their give the Nazi salutes to Hitler," describe the travelers.
"Going past a lovely looking mosque, we got down to the market, doing
some browsing and speaking to the friendly vendors. They really warmed
to Ray, several of them repeating the phrase 'I love America'."
Balkan Baby blog describes itself as "An eclectic mix of travel writing,
photography, info and popular culture from the world's best peninsula".
