President of Albanian Assembly, Jozefina Topalli has secured a promise from the Emir of Kuwait that it will be the first one to recognize a fellow Islamic state of Kosova, reports Kosovo Albanian separatist paper Dailis.

"We promise you that Kuwait will be the first place from our region to recognize the independence of Kosovo, and I believe that other countries will as well make the same decision," Emir said.
