Novo Brdo, or New Hill, was
a sprawling mining area in medieval times, with a hilltop fortress dating
back to the early 12th century. It is an important site in early serbian
archeological history. Local Albanians refuse to let Serbian archaeologists
work there, and wish to claim it in revisionist history. |
